it was raining and cold, felt the roughness all afternoon, ate a lot
Date 3 - Jumeau Alaska
took a taxi to Juneau Visitor Center, hike 2 miles to Nugget Falls, witness the glacier surrounding landscape and wildlife, saw two eagles hovering high above, hike back to visitor center to view a 15 minutes movie about the Alaska Landscape of Change
Date 4 - Skagway Alaska
took a scenic railway trip to White Pass Summit (2.9K ft), bus to Canadian boarder Fraser and return back down with famous green & yellow railway train, whole trip took 3 hours and shop and walk around the old Skagway town, went for a drink at Red Dog Saloon.
Date 5 - Glacier Bay Alaska
witness breaking of ice and small avalanche when our cruise ship turn around at Mendenhall Glacier
Date 6 - Ketchikan Alaska
hike up to Totem Heritage Museum and learn about the history of totem making and what it representing, an event and history, watch a 10 minutes video to show how local Alaskan are sad that their language has few spoken, stop by and have a beer and bike before head back to ship
Date 7 - Victoria BC Canada
took a tour bus to Government Street and hike to the world's smallest and yet oldest Chinatown, then head back to where Hudson Bay department store, visited the St Andrew's Cathedral, St Andrew's Presbyterian church, Empress Hotel, walk along the water front to take in the night fall, beautiful and a lovely friendly town!
